A Typical Day

My day starts at 5:00 am when Buddy and Buttons, my Border collie and cat, jump on the bed to inform me they're starving! After feeding the critters, I leave the house to visit my beloved furry friends to feed and do morning chores before returning home to shower and organize my day.

Visits may be as often as you like - from 6:00 am til 8:00 pm - depending on your preferences and your pet's needs or health status. Mid-morning and mid-afternoon visits generally include dog walks, potty breaks, pick up the mail, water plants, take out or bring in the trash can, recycle, etc. I'll even take your dog to the Bear Creek Dog Park (listed as one of the top 10 dog parks in the nation!) to play if you request. In addition, I'll do my best to accomodate your "spur of the moment" or last minute visit requests.

Typically, I feed in the early evening and arrange my last visit of the day to be after 7:30 pm when the pets are put to bed, shades are closed, and lights are turned on or off. Several clients prefer a visit once every other day to ensure their critters are fed and clean, the plants are watered, and the house is intact.

About Me:  I grew up with animals and a passion for training my own horses and dogs. My earliest ambition was to be a career horse trainer and I raised, trained, and showed several of my own horses. I wrangled at the Lazy H Guest Ranch in Allenspark, CO from the mid 1970's to early 80's where I was blessed to enjoy my love of working with people and horses.

Other jobs, careers, and interests include working in retail sales, serving as an obstetrical nurse in the USAF, and real estate sales, investments, and property management. I love the pet sitting business and am truly fortunate to have a menagerie of wonderful clients including human, furry, scaly, and others.
